Anthony Creates and Organizes Rare Disease Conference
Anthony Zuo studies rare diseases in the lab, and decided to create and organize an entire conference about rare diseases with patients, clinicians, and UConn students attending! A part of the meeting is available as a podcast here. Congrats to Anthony for going from idea, to raising funds, and organizing it all and pulling it off!!

Autoclave and Cold Room Broker Deal to Never Function Simultaneously
After 2 years, the cold room has been fixed!!! However, and so as not to violate Newton’s law of lab equipment, the autoclave in the building is now broken. Fortunately, we can build on our significant training with the milliQ last summer.

The only milliQ in the entire building has been broken for many months and it is again time to fetch water from a building up the hill. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade and get a free triceps workout?, but this is getting absurd.
